Clint Howard (1931-2011) was a vocalist and guitarist from Johnson County, Tennessee known for his ability to sing lead, bass, baritone, tenor and falsetto tenor with enormous power and range He played at numerous festivals and venues including Carnegie Hall and the Smithsonian Folklife Festival He recorded albums with Doc Watson, Fred Price, & Clarence "Tom" Ashley, among others The Blue Ridge Mountain Boys are Clarence Howard (Clint's son), Paul Hurley, Doug Warden, Dan Isaacs
