Roy Harper (Born 1925) is an old time country music player from Manchester, Tennessee, who has been performing for over 50 years and has recorded over 20 albums Harper is known for singing Jimmie Rodgers songs and is noted as one of the finest interpreters of the "Blue Yodel" style As did Rodgers, Harper started out as brakemen on the Southern Railroad In 1999 he was inducted in to the Old-Time Music Hall of Fame, and in 2003 he was the recipient of a Tennessee Folklife Heritage Award Johnny Bellar, from Nashville Tennessee, has been playing both the resophonic guitar (also known as the Dobro) and the lap steel guitar professionally since 1974, and was the 2AC-OR-005 National Resonator Guitar Champion
