Charlie Monroe (1903-1975) was a guitar player and the brother of Birch and Bill Monroe He played with his brothers as well as fronting his own band The Kentucky Pardners and recording for Decca and RCA Victor throughout the 1930s and 1940s James Gentile "Slim" Martin (1919-1975) from Cherokee County, North Carolina, was an old time musician and played with many early country musicians including Jack Ritchie and his Texas Rhythm Rangers; Charlie Monroe; Lester Flatt; Clyde Moody; Molly O'Day, and the Bailey Brothers
