JP Fraley (1923-2011) from Hitchins, in Carter County, Kentucky was a celebrated fiddler who performed widely in Kentucky, throughout the country and overseas He and his wife Annadeene, established the Fraley Festival of Traditional Music in 1970 at Carter Caves State Park in Carter County, Near Grayson, Kentucky
